Our Signature Travertine Resurfacing Process
Travertine requires a specialized touch to balance its rugged texture with a sophisticated finish. Our mobile units are equipped with high-performance diamond abrasives and custom resin systems to handle every variation, from tumbled to vein-cut stone.
1. High-Strength Hole & Void Filling
The most common issue with travertine is the loss of its filler. We use industrial-grade, color-matched polyester or epoxy resins to fill holes, pits, and cracks. Once cured, these fills are honed flush with the stone, making them virtually invisible and preventing dirt from collecting in the gaps.
2. Diamond Honing & Resurfacing
Using our wet-honing system, we mechanically sand away the top layer of the stone. This process removes deep scratches, etch marks from acidic spills, and "traffic lanes." Because we use a wet process, your home remains 100% dust-free.
3. Deep-Pore Rotary Extraction
Travertine’s textured surface often traps soil that standard mopping can't reach. Our truck-mounted thermal extraction system uses controlled heat and pressure to flush the pores of the stone and the grout lines, neutralizing contaminants and preparing the surface for a flawless finish.
4. Custom Luster Selection
We can customize the "sheen" of your travertine on-site:

We can customize the "sheen" of your travertine on-site:
- Honed (Matte): A smooth, flat finish that highlights the natural stone colors.
- Satin Glow: A soft, low-reflection finish that adds warmth and depth.
- Polished: A higher-clarity finish for a more formal, refined look.
